Throughout the state of California, production is surpassing pre-COVID levels. In fact, a recent report listed the film and television industry as the second highest economic driver in the State of California between agriculture (#1) and travel and tourism (#3). Another report released by the California Film Commission reveals that the California Tax Credit program is performing with a return of $24 for every $1 invested. There is no doubt that the film industry is thriving in California and we are thankful for the increased opportunities to work with incredible filmmakers.

Ever wondered what filming in this region of Northern California would be like? We had the privilege of working with Ukrainian-American filmmaker Alex Denysov on multiple projects and he shares some of his experience working with and filming in Shasta County.
Recently featured on Ellen, Good Morning America, The New York Times, and more. The Adventure Challenge has filmed many of their commercials in Shasta County including this short film "Ready for an Adventure?" This commercial was nominated for The Webby Awards in the Long Form category!!! They utilized many locations throughout Shasta County and hired many locals in front of and behind the camera! Congratulations to the Adventure Challenge Team!
An optimistic girl interviews for the same job three times over six years, each time running into the same hard-nosed interviewer. This short was a semi-finalist at both the San Francisco Internationa Film Festival (2022) AND KIFF KinoGram International Film Festival (2021) and filmed in Shasta County.
