The 25th Annual Emerging Cinematographer Awards, presented by the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 600, will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 5:00 pm, at the Television Academy's Saban Media Center Wolf Theatre in North Hollywood. The awards will be followed by a reception. Eight Local 600 members will be recognized for their artistic achievement in cinematography for their short films, which will be screened at the event. The Honorees are: Petros Antoniadis, Connor Van Bodell, Drew Dawson, Edward Guinn, Brook Lee Karner, Grant MacAllister, Sarah Anne Pierpont, and Yasuke Sato. On this evening, the ECA Premier sponsor, Panavision Family of Companies, will present the ICG Distinguished Filmmaker Award to Local 600 Director of Photography, Janusz Kaminski, who is being recognized for his outstanding creative contributions to the art and craft of filmmaking.
