Canadian cinematographer Brendan Steacy, ASC, CSC, has been twice nominated for Best Cinematography at the Canadian Screen Awards as well as three-times nominated for Best Cinematography by the ASC. His recent initiation into the ASC precipitated growing anticipation for the Peter Berg drama, "Painkiller." Steacy's creativity comes to the fore as he honors Berg's unique narrative style which focuses on uplifting performance. Brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, aka RackaRacka on YouTube, were already seasoned directors when they made their first feature film in their hometown Adelaide, South Australia. After a decade online and 1.5 billion views, they felt like challenging themselves with this horror movie.
