"We approached our members and asked them to give a 10% discount to film professionals. The business community in Ridgecrest has always welcomed filming, so they were excited for the opportunity to demonstrate it."

The Board Patrol for Boston

By: Steve Lax | May 6, 2013

Giving back. Paying it forward. Getting involved in our community and country. It goes by many names, this urge to help and/or partner with a worthy cause. Since the events from April 15th at the Boston Marathon, we felt this urge. Unfortunately, these cowardly acts of terrorism against our fellow brothers and sisters, are part of our life & times. We need to unite and answer the call when the time is right. That time is now!

So what could Board Patrol do to help? Plenty, actually. http://theBoardPatrol.com

As far as donating money, a worthy recipient is to give to one of the 35 charitable organizations that Boston Marathon runners had chosen as their own recipients, which ranged from the American Red Cross of Massachusetts to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society; think of it as donating in a runner's honor. ...READ MORE>>
